engine.build is operated by the engine.build team, based in Quebec, Canada. For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at privacy@engine.build.

The privacy officer for this website is the engine.build team, reachable at the same email address.

What we collect

When you sign up for early access, we collect:

• Email address - provided by you in the waitlist form
• IP address - collected automatically for rate limiting and spam prevention
• Timestamp - when you signed up

We do not use cookies for tracking. We use a single functional cookie to remember that you have already joined the waitlist, so we do not show you the signup form again.

Why we collect it

We collect your email address for one purpose: to notify you when engine is available for early access. Your IP address is used solely for rate limiting to prevent abuse of the signup form.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored in Cloudflare D1, a serverless database operated by Cloudflare, Inc. Cloudflare processes data in accordance with their privacy policy. Data may be stored in data centers outside of Canada.

How long we keep it

We retain your email address until you request its deletion, or until the early access program ends, whichever comes first. IP addresses used for rate limiting are not stored beyond the signup event.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your email will only be used to contact you about engine.

Your rights

Under Quebec's Law 25 and applicable Canadian privacy law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Request your data in a portable format
• Withdraw your consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@engine.build. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will post the revised version here with a new "last updated" date.
